Ohrid & Struga

Ohrid - the city under protection of UNESCO is the one of the oldest cultural, educational and administrative center in South-West part of Balkan. Specific

architecture and number of churches (by the legend 365; one for each day of the year) makes Ohrid an unavoidable destination for every traveler who is by chance or by purpose in this part of the world. Struga – The River “Crn Drim” floating out of the Ohrid Lake is making Struga, unusual place. In most cases rivers are getting into the lakes. River “Drim” is

unique also by the fact that beside river Nile is the only one floating direction north on the Northern hemisphere of the Earth. Beside that, there are a lot of artifacts from the past including the oldest museum for preserved animals on Balkan, dating from 1929.

In both cities, besides cultural and spiritual feeling, you will have rare opportunity to try local food specialties in number of restaurants and taverns.
